The choice of assessment derives from principles already mentioned - applicability, and industry relevance. Both the project and the presentation reflect these principles. The project was developed with the contribution of a local Web Development company.
As I mentioned before the difficulty arises from the co-ordination of multiple technologies, each of which is simple in its own right. So the assignment requires a degree of "joined up thinking" on the part of the student to do well. The students' work is not easily included in full, but here are some screenshots of the resulting systems.
